YAY! Here's a Well-Organized Master List of Links to ALL Wineries!
Alpha by Area

Some favorite places of the Wine Country Guidebook:

Columbia Gorge
Marchesi -- Old world styles made with passion (don't miss the Barbera)! Cozy little tasting room.
Pheasant Valley -- Cool place with stellar kickinitback outdoor patio. Fireplace too.
Springhouse Cellar -- Refillable wine bottles with 33% more wine! Flights like breweries with mini taster glasses :-) Casual & friendly.
Use Martin's Gorge Tours to cruise you around! Hike too!

(More "shout-out" favorites include Dry Hollow, Memaloose, Mt. Hood Winery, and Syncline. Info in book).

Close to Portland!
Cooper Mountain
-- Great wines and biodynamic too!
Edgefield's -- Stay overnight! Golf, restaurants, movies, spa, hot tub. Woo hoo!
Hip Chicks Do Wine -- Fun wine club and TWO locations, one practically in the city!
St. Josef's -- Old-style Germanic chalet manor with VERY relaxing lake.
Call VIPpdx and tour around on their "mansion on wheels"! COOLEST buses ever!
Thirst Wine Bar & Bistro can make you great food to take on your picnic, or serve up a wonderful dinner after you arrive back in Portland.

Oh and try Boedecker too -- across from MacTarnahan's Brewery.

Forest Grove/Sip 47

David Hill -- Sweet, olde-time, Americana style with great view and vibe. Lots of wines to try and wide array of prices. One of Oregon's first vineyards!
Purple Cow -- Awesome "backyard" -- with a stellar view! Unique wines for the area.

Carlton
(Many, MANY tasting rooms!)
Cana's Feast -- Totally relaxing and Italian-ish with weekend lunch & dinners. Play bocci!
Seven of Hearts -- Wine AND chocolate shop in same tasting room.
Terra Vina -- Award-winning wines-o-rama! Cute friendly tasting room and 2nd vineyard and Wilsonville locations.
Tyrus Evan -- Ken Wright's other brand that expands beyond his hands-down best NW Pinot Noir ever(!!!) Ken Wright brand and is named after his two sons (middle names). Stay overnight in the very cool lofts there!

There's over a dozen tasting rooms all within blocks of each other! I just love 'em all. Don't miss WildAire!

McMinnville

Panther Creek -- One of my first and still favorites.
R.Stuart -- Sweet tasting room and restaurant downtown. Big Fire brand too.

This is the town to stay in. Perfect base for exploring the area with lots of great restaurants and shops.
